According to information provided by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Selangor attracted the highest investment value in Malaysia, totalling RM231.7 billion between 2019 and 2023. This impressive achievement represents 18 percent of the total RM1,285.5 billion in approved national investments during that timeframe. These figures underscore our commitment to fostering a robust industrial landscape and solidifying Selangor’s pivotal role in Malaysia’s economic development. Aligned with the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2015-2030 (MAIB), which aims to position Malaysia as the leading aerospace hub in Southeast Asia and a key player in the global market by 2030, the Selangor Aviation Show is committed to supporting this ambitious vision. The blueprint aims to achieve a bold target of RM55.2 billion in revenue generating over 32,000 high-income jobs. We believe that the Selangor Aviation Show will be a catalyst for reaching these goals by showcasing our advancements and potential in the aviation sector. These strides are particularly pertinent to the aviation industry, where Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are at the forefront of innovation in technology and support services, driving significant advancements that shape the future of the sector.
